What is your container full of?

First of all Lord, you are so good to me in time of need. All I have to do is look at you and you are there. When I need your compassion, I feel you drawing me near. When I want reassurance, you encourage me with your words. When I fail you for the day, you have mercy on my soul. Don’t leave me ever without your hand on me Lord.

What kind of container are you and what are you being filled with? You are a container and you are being filled, soon to overflow on someone else. What will they come in contact with? Will it be life giving blessings or selfish acts of rude hatred and darkness? Roots of rejection and bitterness can be broken and the chains of bondage can be severed forever. To start afresh, you must receive the Love of God through His Son Jesus and let the Holy Spirit pour into you new wine. The old wineskin cannot accept the new wine; your wineskin must become new to hold all the blessings.

2 Timothy 2:20-26 (The Message)

20-21In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.

22-26Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace—joining those who are in honest and serious prayer before God. Refuse to get involved in inane discussions; they always end up in fights. God’s servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devil’s trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.

The Madmen and the Pigs

Matthew 8:28 (The Message)

The Madmen and the Pigs

28-31They landed in the country of the Gadarenes and were met by two madmen, victims of demons, coming out of the cemetery. The men had terrorized the region for so long that no one considered it safe to walk down that stretch of road anymore. Seeing Jesus, the madmen screamed out, “What business do you have giving us a hard time? You’re the Son of God! You weren’t supposed to show up here yet!” Off in the distance a herd of pigs was browsing and rooting. The evil spirits begged Jesus, “If you kick us out of these men, let us live in the pigs.”

32-34Jesus said, “Go ahead, but get out of here!” Crazed, the pigs stampeded over a cliff into the sea and drowned. Scared to death, the swineherds bolted. They told everyone back in town what had happened to the madmen and the pigs. Those who heard about it were angry about the drowned pigs.

A mob formed and demanded that Jesus get out and not come back.

AWAKEN!!!

This account of dealing with demons controlling humans was just a portion of the ministry of Jesus.

Even they recognized the Son of God walking by without being introduced. The evil spirits in those men saw the Spirit of God in Jesus approaching and recognized the authority He had over them.

In these last days we are in, it is just as controversial as then. We have been given the same authority in Jesus’ name, being a child of the kingdom. I believe very soon, these same type of happenings will occur in our day and become more prevalent. There is a generation of bold ones coming to the forefront. I also see the religious & secular crowd will despise and reject these things. This world cries out for the supernatural in movies, games, DVD’s, magic, fortunes, etc. The excitement of the supernatural phenomena excludes fear and destruction, but that’s ok, cause it is acceptable. Let someone testify of being delivered from demonic powers, or healed from an incurable disease, maybe set free from addiction in the matter of minutes, and then persecution and venom starts flowing!

I tell you, I would love to be ridiculed for taking part in Jesus’ ministry. He came to set the captives free, bring joy to those that are down trodden, heal those with infirmities, give sight to the blind, and life to dead bones! Watch for it, there is a Bride awakening to the revelation of the Word of God.
Instead of watching, be part of it! What a day to be on this earth. AWAKEN!!!!!

Are you Allergic?

**You know that funky allergic reaction your skin gets when you have been bit by mosquitoes, or brushed up against some East Texas bull-nettle? Or maybe the day after walking through poison ivy? I don’t know about you, but my body usually reacts after the damage is done. Then it starts screaming to get relief. It attacks the foreign objects in a drastic way, and that is when our misery becomes first priority. There were not enough warning signs before the attack took place, some of them subtly and quietly were lurking in the shadows waiting for their culprit to pass by. They were not particular who it would be; anyone would do.

**Satan is such a miserable piece of crap, he wishes to bring anyone down with him. He knows where he is doomed to go and he wants as much company as possible. His character proceeds him, but sometimes we are consumed in our trek across this journey of ours, we don’t pay attention to who is trying to lead us (not into temptation). We get so self contained in our own stuff, we ease into the poison unknowingly. Why? Because our GPS (God Positioning System) has been switched off. I must give credit to Pastor Teo for the GPS thought, but I had to embellish. God does know the road ahead with our destination in mind. We have all the tools and guidance system available to us at our disposal if we would just choose to read the right map, or take time to listen before we leap.

**So far some of the journey has been smooth, and obviously some of the way has been more detours around rocky roads. Frustration to the point of depression will gladly set in, especially when you are on the losing end.

**Refuse to fall into these traps! You are not out there on the edge alone and abandoned. Jesus sees your desperation with one eye on you and the other on your destiny! One eye on you and one eye on your destiny! One eye on you and one eye on your destiny! Oh, my Lord, do you see me? Do you see where I am?

**If you can only accept a fragment of how much He loves you, Hope will rise up to give reprieve. Where there is Hope there is life. He is the giver of life to the oppressed! Victory is His name. Life is His gift to you & me when we thought there was none left. Look up and see Him. Reach toward that healing hand.

When we choose our wardrobe, does it look like the one God picked for us?

*Our old life and wardrobe reflected things about us to accompany a hair style, a tan, or maybe to accent a life style such as, well you fill that blank………..

*Most of the time it was to make a statement of how we felt about our self and what we were aiming to attract. Stepping on any toes yet? Sorry!

*When trying to walk into a new life with God, our countenance should be renewed to reflect compassion for others, kindness, humility, etc. While feeling great about our self and keeping our body fit as we possibly can, we can mix that with an outward glow and appearance to invite friendship instead of fleshly desires of passion. Save those feelings and moments for you life partner.

*So now that your imagination is whirling about this subject, ask yourself, what does a wardrobe of Love, compassion, kindness look like? It should fit perfect, feel like the best, just the right colors for the moment, and should draw people to God and not ourself. Feeling comfortable in God should be as natural as a leaf on a tree, a flower petal at the end of a green stem. What others will see when they see you, is God in the earth. Man I would like to own this clothing store!

*I bought a new pair of shoes the other day and it is like putting my feet into a glove and at the end of the day, I forget they are on. When we wear our garment of God all day it should be that way, feels so great, we don’t even know it is there, cause it feels so good! What does yours look like?

Colossians 3:12-17 (The Message)

12-14So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

15-17Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.

CIA chief warns Iran could have nukes ready by 2012

June 28, 2010

SpaceDaily.com reports: “Iran has enough low-enriched uranium to make two weapons, which it could have prepared and ready for delivery as early as 2012, CIA director Leon Panetta warned Sunday.

‘We think they have enough low-enriched uranium for two weapons,’ Panetta told the ABC network’s ‘This Week’ program.

Tehran would need a year to enrich it fully to produce a bomb and it would take ‘another year to develop the kind of weapon delivery system in order to make that viable,’ he said.

Iran is under mounting international pressure over its suspect nuclear program, which the West fears masks a covert weapons drive.

The Islamic republic vehemently denies the charge, but has been flexing its military muscle mainly in the strategic Gulf region by staging regular war games and showcasing an array of Iran-manufactured missiles…”
