Everyone knows the classic hymn that asks us this very question. We always respond with the lyric that follows, but never really think deeper. The un-churched may ask how can blood be used to clean something? To some it is both strange and somewhat disturbing. That is until you explain about your own filthy heart and the cleansing power of Christ’s death. I hope someone asks you about this one.
