Flames of Fire

In those close moments with God, His Jesus, and the Holy Spirit the communion is so sweet! During this, we have actually taken our focus off of our routine and self indulgence to be next to Him like climbing up in His lap. Those times are farther apart than I would like to admit, but when they happen, it can just come upon you in a moment. You know why, cause He is always ready to download! It is our busyness that gets us off in left field. Those times of download can restore lost time and regenerate us like an ember of coal in the ashes. All it takes is His breath to blow on you and your flame re-lights into a raging fire!

He intends for His ministers and servants to be like tongues of fire , flames of Fire in the wilderness until the whole world hears the name Jesus!

Hebrews 1:7

7 And of the angels He says:

“ Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.”

Psalm 104:4

4 Who makes His angels spirits,
His ministers a flame of fire.

Ahmadinejad Stresses ‘New World Order’ while joining with Russia for nuclear plant.

Ahmadinejad said that the conditions we are experiencing today need planning for new orders in the world and (our) cooperation and co-thinking for organizing the conditions.

While Russia and Iran are working together to begin operating Tehran’s first nuclear plant, claiming that they are “embarking on the path to peaceful nuclear energy”.  The Nuclear power plant is expected to come online by the end of summer.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in March the launch of the nuclear power station in Iran would be premature amid efforts by the West to put pressure on Tehran over its controversial nuclear program.

At West Point, Obama Presses for New World Order to Defeat Al Qaeda

Fox News reports: “President Obama on Saturday vowed to press for a new international order ‘that can resolve the challenges of our times’ and help the United States defeat Al Qaeda and other threats to freedom.

Delivering the commencement speech at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Obama ticked off a list of lofty goals this new order could accomplish; from combating violent extremism to stopping the spread of nuclear weapons to stemming climate change and sustaining global growth.

While saying he was ‘clear-eyed about the shortfalls’ of the international system that has led many critics of the United Nations and other institutions to abandon multilateralism, Obama said the United States would move ahead on a policy of ‘national renewal and global leadership.’

‘We have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice — so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t,’ he said.

Saturday’s comments suggest the Obama administration may be ready to more vigorously court the international community’s support, and further distance itself from the ‘distinctly American internationalism’ pursued by George W. Bush.

The Bush administration lobbied for support on issues like the removal of Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, but at other times pursued unilateral action in defense of U.S. interests.

Obama said the United States would continue to pursue at least one Bush administration goal — the defeat of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan — and warned ‘there will be difficult days ahead.’ He also said international support would be a key to winning the battle…”

Congressman: White House Job Offer to Sestak May Be an ‘Impeachable’ Offense

Original Story: FOXNews.com

Rep. Joe Sestak’s allegation that the White House offered him a job to drop out of the Pennsylvania Senate primary race against Arlen Specter is a crime that could lead to the impeachment of President Obama, Rep. Darrell Issa said.

But the decision by the Pennsylvania congressman not to elaborate on a so-called deal also could become a political problem as Sestak tries for the U.S. Senate seat.

“It’s very clear that allegation is one that everyone from Arlen Spector to Dick Morris has said is in fact a crime, and could be impeachable,” said Issa, who is threatening to file an ethics compliant if Sestak doesn’t provide more details about the alleged job offer.

Sestak, a former vice admiral in the Navy, first alleged in February that the White House offered him a high-ranking position in the administration last summer if he would sit out the primary against Specter, who won the backing of the White House and state Democratic leaders for switching parties.

The allegation is considered one of the factors that helped him defeat Specter, who was viewed as unscrupulous in doing whatever he could to keep his seat, including changing his party to win White House support for an uphill re-election battle.

But now, Sestak has to go into the general election, where his opponent, former Republican Rep. Pat Toomey, is willing to use the topic as referendum on both Sestak’s and Obama’s credibility.

“Congressman Sestak should tell the public everything he knows about the job he was offered, and who offered it,” Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey said in a written statement. “To do otherwise will only continue to raise questions and continue to be a needless distraction in this campaign.”

And Democratic Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, a close ally of the president, said Sestak can’t continue to lay out the charge without backing it up.

“At some point, Congressman Sestak needs to make it clear what happened,” he said.

Issa said this allegation is bigger than the Senate race.

“For Joe Sestak, he can dance around it and he may or may not be a senator,” he said. “But for the White House, this problem’s not going away. Adm. Sestak is in fact a very reliable source.”

Ann Marie McAvoy, a former federal prosecutor, said the White House could have a problem on its hands depending on what the facts show.

“If they were simply offering him a job because they thought he was a qualified person for it and there was no request made that he in essence drop out of the race, it would be different,” she told Fox News. “This is why there really needs to be an in depth investigation. There needs to be witness interviews and so on to figure out what happened, who said what, what were the other circumstances surrounding it.”

Issa has called on the Justice Department to appoint a special prosecutor but Attorney General Eric Holder has said that won’t be necessary.

“We assure you that the Department of Justice takes very seriously allegations of criminal conduct by public officials,” Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich told Issa in a letter. “All such matters are reviewed carefully by career prosecutors and law enforcement agents, and appropriate action, if warranted, is taken.”

Weich said a special prosecutor won’t be needed because the Justice Department “has a long history of handling investigations of high level officials professionally and independently, without the need to appoint a special counsel.”

But McAvoy said any allegation of wrongdoing shouldn’t be left to the Justice Department to decide.

“Someone in the administration had this conversation which means that would be the person mostly likely who committed the crime if there is a crime,” she said. “So you have the people who are representing the people who potentially committed the crime are making the determinations as to whether anything wrong happened. That’s not the way it’s supposed to happen.”

Issa compared any potential cover-up to the Watergate scandal of the Nixon era.the White House Tuesday of a cover up similar to the Watergate scandal.

“It’s not about what was done wrong. It’s about the cover up,” Issa told Fox News. “And right now, there’s a cover up going on at the White House 10 weeks after the allegation.

Be willing to stand for something!

It is in today’s environment that it is truly inspiring to see people of note taking a stand for something worthy! People who are not willing to sell their moral convictions for a dollar. Tim Tebow is just one of those people. Read more…

Be willing to stand alone and to stand for something, former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow told college students over the weekend.Former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow speaks at Lipscomb University’s Don Meyer Evening of Excellence on Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Just days before the National Football League 2010 draft, Tebow was in Nashville inspiring students at Lipscomb University and confirming his plans to use his pro career as a platform for modeling his Christian faith.

“If you stand for something people might like you, or they might not like you, but at least you will stand for something,” Tebow said Saturday during the university’s Second Annual Don Meyer Evening of Excellence, according to Lipscomb. “Whatever you do, stand for something.”

The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner did just that earlier this year when he participated in a pro-life commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. The commercial, created by Focus on the Family, cost him some of his sponsors.

But losing sponsors was a small price to pay for being able to present his beliefs about family and faith to the public, he told a crowd of some 5,500 people this past weekend.

The commercial, featuring Tim and his mother, Pam Tebow, had drawn fire from pro-choice groups which tried to convince CBS to pull the ad. But once the light-hearted commercial aired, few saw it as controversial.

Tebow, a two-time National Champion, has been one of the most talked about and evaluated NFL prospects for the 2010 draft, which begins Thursday. Known for painting Bible references on his black under-eye markings, Tebow views his pro career as more than just playing football.

“There is a responsibility and an obligation for me to be a good role model and set an example for the next generation,” he said Saturday.

“The NFL is not the end for me,” he stressed. “It is a means to an end. It will give me a platform to hopefully make a difference.”

Passing on some more words of wisdom to students at the private Christian university, Tebow encouraged the young crowd to live each day with passion and to finish strong.

“Whatever I do I give my whole heart to it,” he said.

“I’ve never been someone who likes to do a lot of fluff, to do a lot of stuff that doesn’t really matter. I like to do stuff that I feel really matters like training for the sport I love, visiting kids in the hospital and going on the mission trips. I have put my heart into those things.”

Tebow’s parents, Bob and Pam, who are missionaries, were also featured at the Don Meyer event.

Volcano from space: ‘Nightmarish face’ seen from above!

A radar image of the volcanic crater appears to show a nightmarish face, which is reminiscent of Edvard Munch’s painting ‘The Scream.’ Coincidentally, it is thought that the masterpiece was inspired by the blood red skies caused by the powerful volcanic eruption of Krakatoa in 1883.

In his diary Mr Munch wrote: ‘I was walking along a path with two friends – the sun was setting – suddenly the sky turned blood red – I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence – there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city – my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety – and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.’

The picture was taken by the ELTA radar from an Icelandic Coast Guard airplane.
