Who’s Looking?

Who’s Looking?

There is a vacuum we humans tend to operate in, Christians and non-Christians alike. Followers of Christ are supposed to emulate the character of the mentor, right? Many times you can make observations after hours and outside the doors and away from the steeple on the roof. What should these times in the market place reveal of the children of God? The way we present ourselves to friends, strangers, co-workers should matter. In Philippians 1:27 Paul is encouraging and exhorting the Christians he had ministered, to continue living in such a way to be a credit to the Message of Christ. He wanted their conduct to be the same whether he was with them or absent. Whether he ever came back to them or not or heard from a distance. So I present the same question before all who reads these words,
“Where is Holiness, where is Righteousness, where is your Hunger for the Gospel? Are you carrying it with you every waking hour, or just 2 to 3 hours a week during the designated day and time? Does it make everything in you rejoice, when a soul gets set free, or a lost one finally comes to the reality of salvation and God’s love?
In Philippians 2: 1-8 (read it)
Paul is not just speaking to those in that time and place, but Paul through the Holy Spirit is also instructing us today, for our benefit. God encourages us with Paul’s words. If we have gotten anything out of following Christ, if His love has actually made a difference in your life, be as one and agree with each other. Even though there were others taking advantage of Paul being in chains, they took the opportunity to elevate themselves while preaching the Gospel. Paul still just routed them on for the sake of Christ to be made known. He put himself aside and didn’t push his way to the top.
Jesus was the same way, even though He had Deity and advantages, He laid them aside and took on the status of a slave to serve man with a humble heart.
So how real is your Messiah? Has He become as close as a friend, do you know His voice? Do you believe He is looking, watching and hearing all about your day? Do you believe He watches? If you didn’t believe that, but something in you says this must be right, then a transformation is on the horizon for you! It is time for us as individuals to usher in our captor. Captivate or hearts, Lord.

Yielding to His Voice

The Upper Room

Yielding to His Voice

* Why is it Christians don”t know the voice of their Lord? We spend alot of our walk in faith not even believing He speaks, but then we want answers to questions, prayers, and circumstances. Are we confused about the answer, whether it is our emotions of the flesh or whether it is actually Him, trying to get through to us?
Maybe it is because we do not look to Him for it all, it is only on an as needed basis. There is actually a one sided friendship happening. He is ready and vulnerable, but we are closed and protective of being real. We are as stubborn as a horse or a donkey that must wear a bit and a bridle to be forced in every direction. Notice how while in the pasture, free from the bit, when the dinner bell rings, or the owner calls, they come running. They understand the voice or the sound of benefit, whether is a meal, grooming, or a warm blanket. Relationship is a vulnerable exposure. Once trust and love are established, loyalty and honor gain a foothold. It is the same in our spritual walk of faith. If Sunday’s & Wednesday nights are all we devote to our friendship with God, we are starving and holding back. We should not expect much more than a casual aquaintance. In that case, unless you exchange names and numbers you will never remember how to get ahold of Him. You won’t remember how or what brought you near the first time. Yielding to His voice must be a repetitive 24/7/365 way of living. Then it becomes all different. You start taking on His character and only saying what He says and only doing what He does. Can this actually be done in this day and age of busyness? Well not without devotion, discipline, and desire! What is the desire of your heart today? Do you want to hear God speak to you in your busyness and in your quiet times and in your dreams? Do you want a burning desire to carry out your destiny? Is your flame inside burning to carry the good news of the Gospel to the marketplace? Can you do this at the same time being a Mom, Dad, student, owner of a company, co-worker in a huge industry. I say, yes, if you want to be the best at what you do, relationship with the one and only mighty God of creation and the universe is vital! Give it some time, work out your salvation with joy and peace, getting to know yourself and your Father along the way. It’s Time!

Psalm 32:8-11 (The Message)

8 Let me give you some good advice;
I’m looking you in the eye

and giving it to you straight:

9 “Don’t be ornery like a horse or mule
that needs bit and bridle

to stay on track.”

10 God-defiers are always in trouble;
God-affirmers find themselves loved

every time they turn around.

11 Celebrate God.
Sing together—everyone!
All you honest hearts, raise the roof!

Message of A Gospel Lifestyle

Living as a member of the commonwealth and sharing the blessings and benefits of being a child of the King brings character building. Such lifestyle automatically is bent toward taking on some of the same attributes of the Father.  Although very individualistic and different, we want to uphold the vision of the Father and always strive to do everything with the spirit of LOVE. Thinking unselfishly about others needs, hurts and well-being should be one of our first responses.

The Upper Room

Preferring our brother before self is taking on the character of the Father. Selfishly thinking of me first, then what is left over might get shared is only self-pleasure for the moment, not lasting. Living the walk of Faith being empowered for that walk by the Fathers Spirit gift is only done by His lead. His idea was sacrifice to gain relationship with you in mind. There are many other mindsets to find peace and access to heaven, but all other paths lead to frustration and destruction. A Gospel Kingdom lifestyle must take on the same attributes of the one who created you and set your feet on the path. Breathing life into every step you take, if in obedience, develops into Holy- Righteous character. Striving to only do, say, and go where the Father directs. Some wait for a burning bush or the perfect word from someone before taking off with their assignment, never finding destiny or fulfillment. The first two letters in the word GOSPEL is GO.

In our flesh, we will never be ready and will analize our way out of the task. This is not love! Love always puts others before ourselves. You would rather see the other person blessed to know how much God loves them than take advantage.
Being in fear of never getting self-fulfilled always stifles fulfillment and delays growth. When we stay in fear, we are of no use to the Kingdom, so let go of those chains that bind you up in fear and learn to trust. God will see you through and show you freedom and a new powerful life on the other side of fear! When operating in Faith and power, nothing is impossible with God. See where God is looking and GO! That is where He COMMANDS HIS BLESSINGS!  Signs and Wonders will flow in your shadow.

Matthew 25:35-40

(The Message)34-36″Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what’s coming to you in this kingdom. It’s been ready for you since the world’s foundation. And here’s why:I was hungry and you fed me,I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,I was homeless and you gave me a room,I was shivering and you gave me clothes,I was sick and you stopped to visit,I was in prison and you came to me.’37-40″Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’

You are My Bread

How many times have you read or corporately repeated the Lord’s Prayer? For many of you, I suppose hundreds of times.

The Upper Room

You know, we can read and memorize scripture and gain knowledge, that is good and great to do. When you can actually make it practical and put it into action as a way of life, then that is life changing! The actual Word becoming real and vibrant is an exciting, liberating, refreshing flow through your veins that brings light. Not only dispels darkness in the deep corners of our lives, but is contagious to others around you. We serve a God that has given us an advocate that is not immune to our sense of failure and shortfalls. That is why He came, to give us our daily bread for every need.

He knew you before He threw the stars into the universe. He had you in mind, before all the birds of the air, and the fish in the oceans, before all the flowers in fields that are never seen by human eyes. He dressed them in all their array.

How much more He cares for you, His child. Sometimes, just coming to the end of ourselves is all it take to see clearly, acknowledging you are not alone. The pride of man is what blocks freedom every time, so lay it down and find the new wind for you sail, it will carry you across the troubled waters. Blessings

Matthew 6:11 (New King James Version)

Courage and Trust are the two feet of those that walk with God

To walk with God as one of the first Disciples of Jesus was a challenge in a different way. They saw the Lord Jesus right before their eyes. It wasn’t long though, there came a time the mindset changed. They had to relate to Him differently.

The Upper Room

The voice they heard with their ears now had to be heard through His Spirit and by words spoken that had been hidden in the heart. Walking in Faith to carry out their mission was going to have the hand of God involved in it. Courage and Trust were going to be the two feet of those that walk with God. To be a Doer instead of only just a Hearer meant a different walk that was going to require boldness.  Now this is the same ground we must learn to walk as the original disciples did. Establishing in your heart once and for all time, that God is powerful and big enough for every circumstance is a mandate, not an option! You really can go no further in your walk of Faith with Power in your steps with out this being settled.

There is an exciting life full of corridors to walk through and goals, dreams and visions to find and experience ahead for those that are sold out and fully committed. The walk of a Christian follower of Christ is not for the faint of heart and timid uncommitted soul. None of us in the flesh are capable to make this challenge except for the Grace of the Living God!

He stands ready to empower and make perfect all our imperfections, and make strong all our weaknessess. A life of praise and thanksgiving is how we get guidence for the next move. Keepiing our eyes focused on Him, never waivering, is the only way to look past the circumstance and troubles ahead. Don’t try to change the whole world and lose your soul.

Don’t be concerned about promotion, be concerned about your brother. Overflow with the Love of God on someone every minuite of everyday with Love as your guide. God will deal with clearing the way for you.

2 Samuel 22:29-37 (The Message)

29-31 Suddenly, God, your light floods my path,

God drives out the darkness.

I smash the bands of marauders,

I vault the high fences.

What a God! His road

stretches straight and smooth.

Every God-direction is road-tested.

Everyone who runs toward him

Makes it.

32-46 Is there any god like God?

Are we not at bedrock?

Is not this the God who armed me well,

then aimed me in the right direction?

Now I run like a deer;

I’m king of the mountain.

He shows me how to fight;

I can bend a bronze bow!

You protect me with salvation-armor;

you touch me and I feel ten feet tall.

You cleared the ground under me

so my footing was firm.

When I chased my enemies I caught them;

I didn’t let go till they were dead men.

I nailed them; they were down for good;

then I walked all over them.

You armed me well for this fight;

you smashed the upstarts.

You made my enemies turn tail,

and I wiped out the haters.

They cried “uncle”

but Uncle didn’t come;

They yelled for God

and got no for an answer.

I ground them to dust; they gusted in the wind.

I threw them out, like garbage in the gutter.

You rescued me from a squabbling people;

you made me a leader of nations.

People I’d never heard of served me;

the moment they got wind of me they submitted.

They gave up; they came trembling from their hideouts.

The City About To Come

I did a short word study on ”sharing”. Then I read in Hebrews 13 about the act of sharing, and what I find is an unselfish act, not claiming privilege with an insider attitude. It is totally opposite. It takes a road of humbleness on the outside among the market place and common people.

The Upper Room Just as the sacrifices of atonement in old days where the blood sacrifice was not done in the temple, it was done outside the city gates. As did Jesus the Messiah, He died and gave His life outside the city, and shed His blood for all mankind. Let us take our place with Jesus, outside the walls of the church and temples of religion. Let us be the temple in the streets of the city and in the marketplace pouring out a sacrifice upon our lips of praise and thanksgiving for His Grace and Lovingkindness! I see this city with no walls of bondage and shackels of bitterness, preferring one another instead of self, meeting every need. A city of praise and of worship with no boundries too high to reach and no cause too great to meet. It will take great humility and great love to burst through boundries that have been set in the past. It will take greater hunger for righteousness than ever before, but Holy Spirit can and is changing the hearts of man. The shaking of the church is just as tremendous as the birth pains that the earth is showing forth in Japan, and the mindset is going to change just as how the tsunami vastly changed the complection of the land.  Washing all the debree of religious mindsets clean and returning the heart of man to God.

The hearts of the children to the fathers and the fathers to the children.

The days ahead are not going to be easy, but they are going to be powerful and the Bride will arise in the street, and many will be saved!

Hebrews 13:15-16 (The Message)

Let’s take our place outside with Jesus, no longer pouring out the sacrificial blood of animals but pouring out sacrificial praises from our lips to God in Jesus’ name.

16Make sure you don’t take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of “sacrifice”—that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the stree2 Corinthians 5:5 (The Message)

All the Weapons and Tools Where Your Feet Trod part2

During our journey, he gives us all the weapons and tools we need for every situation or circumstance. We have instilled in us as we grow up in the secular world, man’s ways of defending by force and physical retaliation. An eye for an eye mentality only ends in so called victory over the weaker foe.

The Upper Room

Strike first by surprise to gain the advantage when diplomacy fails.

Even when diplomacy is attempted, one is normally manipulating for advantage.

Dealing with mankind in circumstance and situations with spiritual

insight and wisdom seems like foolishness to the mind of man. It

goes against all rationale when done in the spirit of holiness. God intended for us not to fight the battles with fleshly thinking, but to restore brokeness with humility , and anger with love and compassion.

What the world has accomplished is to work the word of God into no affect in our daily life, therefore has taken God from the equation as being the authority for man. Man has nullified God’s authority, and set himself up as judge and jury. Humanism! We all have seen how great that has been working! It is time to return to our first love and learn to apply the heart of God to our dealings with one another.

We cannot learn to apply these spiritual weapons and tools without learning about the character of God.

Ephesians 6:14-18

14 Truth, righteousness, 15 peace, 16 faith, 17 and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. 18 In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

Not only Love Much but Well

Without love operating properly in every area of our life, it really amounts to waste and won’t stand the test of time.

The Word tell us that God is Love and we cannot know the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit with out Love. If you are in God and God is in you, there is His seed of love exisitng inside you somewhere. Evident or not it is in there and needs to dominate in all your activities. Being aware of the love of God for you is foundational, then as it germinates and sprouts forth the beginnings of discernment will be managing your soul and choices in everyday life. Understanding the character of your Heavenly Father takes some time and communication. Establishing relationship involves investment of time, vulnerability, truth, honesty, intimacy, even more intense than a covenant of marriage, but same priciples.

The Upper Room

The odd thing most people do not realize in human relationships is, they cannot experience real aspects and all that love has to offer without The Trinity being the center piece and foundation for loving and lasting love.

It can be strived for and manipulated to be some form of mutual agreement and controlled by lust, but never by trust.

The very character of God living and abiding inside you has got to become a way of life, or all you will have is a vicious circle of frustration, jealousy, distrust until you move on to the next warm body, to only start over trying to create a temporary form of insanity. Back up for a moment and learn the character of God’s love and begin to let God live through you, reflecting His character. You will be much more desirable to everyone around you, especially your spouse!

1 Corinthians 13:3-7 (The Message)

3-7If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.

Love doesn’t strut,

Doesn’t have a swelled head,

Doesn’t force itself on others,

Isn’t always “me first,”

Doesn’t fly off the handle,

Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts God always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end.

Philippians 1:9-11 (The Message)

9-11So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

Are You Ready?

Jesus Christ Return

A thief does not come up to a house and knock on the door. Robbery is something that happens suddenly and at a time people do not expect it to occur. What about us in terms of Christ’s return? Should we not be ready? Do we not know the times and the seasons? Yes, we do. We have every reason to be able to be prepared should the “thief” arrive, that is, should Christ return.  ~John W. Ritenbaugh

1 Thessalonians 5:2

2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

We are close to the return of Jesus Christ; the world is filled with all kinds of signs of the end. They wear at us and worry us. We see them on television and hear them on the radio—everywhere we look, we see signs of the times. It is a stressful situation to be in, and still, Christ does not come. We say, “How long, Lord, will it be ’til You come?”

We can become neglectful. We can let our focus slip. We need to be exhorted and stirred.

Christ gives the first-century church a warning in Revelation 2:1-7, His message to the Ephesian church. He points out their problem. He gives them advice as to what they should do, and then at the end, He provides incentive for them to correct the situation that they had allowed themselves to deteriorate into.  ~John W. Ritenbaugh

Revelation 2:1-7

A Letter to the Church in Ephesus

1“To the messenger of the church in Ephesus, write:

The one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lamp stands, says: 2I know what you have done—how hard you have worked and how you have endured. I also know that you cannot tolerate wicked people. You have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not apostles. You have discovered that they are liars. 3You have endured, suffered trouble because of my name, and have not grown weary. 4However, I have this against you: The love you had at first is gone. 5Remember how far you have fallen. Return to me and change the way you think and act, and do what you did at first. I will come to you and take your lamp stand from its place if you don’t change. 6But you have this in your favor—you hate what the Nicolaitans are doing. I also hate what they’re doing.

7“Let the person who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will give the privilege of eating from the tree of life, which stands in the paradise of God, to everyone who wins the victory.

Offering God Something Hand-me-Down?

Is Coming to the altar important to you and your church anymore? Giving devoted worship and praise to a Holy God that deserves all our praise? Those questions are ones I have been pondering over, about myself and about churches in the west. I am humbled and challanged greatly when I witness testimonies of how believers in other countries have secret church, underground meetings and the use of code to communicate where the next meeting will be held.

The Upper Room

Conviction of where we stand with a Mighty, Holy God should be in the forefront of our daily devotion. As He sent His sinless, pure Love in the form of His Son Jesus to regain relationship, we must be shaken to our core! Humbled on one hand and ovewhelmed with victory and celebration on the other. God, awaken your children and may we be forgiven for restraint. May we be forgiven for standing for a dead church, just to hold our numbers or our tithers. Let the children dance before the Lord! There is expression of worship that cannot be held back from our God! God Shake the church and it’s leaders in their tracks. Reverse the attitude among your people Lord, or shut the doors! We the people serve and Vibrant, Powerful, Full of Life, Real Living God and we honor you Lord.

Malachi 1:11-13 (The Message)

11″I am honored all over the world. And there are people who know how to worship me all over the world, who honor me by bringing their best to me. They’re saying it everywhere: ‘God is greater, this God-of-the-Angel-Armies.’

12-13″All except you. Instead of honoring me, you profane me. You profane me when you say, ‘Worship is not important, and what we bring to worship is of no account,’ and when you say, ‘I’m bored—this doesn’t do anything for me.’ You act so superior, sticking your noses in the air—act superior to me, God-of-the-Angel-Armies! And when you do offer something to me, it’s a hand-me-down, or broken, or useless. Do you think I’m going to accept it? This is God speaking to you!

Does Love have the run of your House?

Does Love have the run of your House?

Do you want a measuring device or dipstick to see if you are at operating level or running low, in need of fresh oil for maximum capacity? The basis for this is looking toward the Love of God by His Word.

It is not everyone that confesses that Jesus is God’s Son. Even Satan realizes these words are true!

The Upper Room

It is those that not only confess that Jesus is the Son of God, but also participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God.*Now this must give an indication of where you stand in relationship with God. Man cannot judge the heart and the intent of another, only the Holy Spirit can guide you into real Truth. By the Grace and power of God, man has been given redemption from the past! Well formed, mature love has no room for fear. A knowing of God’s love in you and you in Him casts out all fear! Every kind of fear. Fear of failure, fear of abandonment, fear of rejection, fear of death, fear of anything you might name. If fear has tried to cripple you and stifled relationship with God, be willing to drop the pride and turn to Him for Love. When you do this with reckless abandonment of what the world thinks, you can become free and live once more in His love and start walking in a bold faith of knowing you are loved and find security in His love everyday! Blessings

1 John 4:13-19 (The Message)

13-16This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God.

17-18God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.19We, though, are going to love—love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first.

What is your Habitation?

The Upper Room

What is your Habitation?

If you know what your habitation is, then what would it look like if you were to put it on to wear?

This passage of scripture is one I read and ponder alot. This is just so thought provoking and challenging

to me over and over. This just an excerpt from a sermon I wrote a while back called “Clothing Ourselves with Our Habitation.”

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 (The Message)

1-5For instance, we know that when these bodies of ours are taken down like tents and folded away, they will be replaced by resurrection bodies in heaven—God-made, not handmade—and we’ll never have to relocate our “tents” again. Sometimes we can hardly wait to move—and so we cry out in frustration. Compared to what’s coming, living conditions around here seem like a stopover in an unfurnished shack, and we’re tired of it! We’ve been given a glimpse of the real thing, our true home, our resurrection bodies! The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us a taste of what’s ahead. He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.

6-8That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? When the time comes, we’ll be plenty ready to exchange exile for homecoming.

*Stepping into the very presence of God during moments of prayer, worship unhindered, solitude, etc. only creates a desire and longing of His children. To climb up on to the palm of His hand, and for Him to lift you high into the heavens next to Him with total security and rest. Encouragment given during those awsome moments with Him gives us HOPE and reason to endure the battle before us. This is very good news, “The Gospel News” hot off the press to be shared to the nations. The Unrelinting Love of the Father!

A Fire Burns Inside Him

A Fire Burns Inside Him

*In John chapter 7 it gives great insight of Jesus character being built.

*Jesus was trying to discern proper timing and staying

in tune with His Fathers will, so He did not go with the

family to the feast. But it wasn’t long after that the fire

inside Him drew Him back to the temple again to teach.

*The burning desire inside Him to spread the good news

of the gospel is where He found the anointing. No matter

the cost, He was going to stay on track with spreading the

news.

*On the final day of the feast, Jesus grew tired of all the

murmuring and speculation and decided to take a stand

that would drive the Truth deep into their religious minds.

In vs. 37-39 He cried out, “If any one thirsts, let him come

to Me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill

out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way,

Just as the scripture says.”

*Two things Jesus did really well was, He always stirred up

man’s thinking and was devoted to not let people stay the

same as they were before they encountered Him.

Even when people were upset with Him and the things

He was saying they still had to consider the Truth. They

had to choose whether or not to believe.

*How is that spark doing that has been lit in your heart?

*Is it burning, glowing, expanding to a mighty torch?

Consider Jesus and His Love and passion for Kingdom business,

then let Him blow on that flame to make it become a wildfire, spreading

among the people of many nations! Blessings all over you.

On Earth as it is in Heaven

The Upper Room

On Earth as it is in Heaven

There have been many noted and recorded outpourings and revivals and miracles down from the ages. Times when there was no doubt, God annointed certain events and ministries. When we give God our undivided attention, we realize how we should pray, for others lives to interlock with God’s will.

A lot of what God does on earth hinges on us getting in His will. He poured out the Holy Spirit on His son Jesus, the day John baptized Him. Then after Jesus was crucified, He gave His disciples and all children of God His Spirit, the Holy Spirit. Since then He did not resend His gift to man and take it away to leave us alone. From what I understand of God’s character, He is constantly pouring out His spirit into those who want more. There is no limit with God when it comes to how much we get, is there? Some days, we cry out for more and other days we get distracted and move on. Seeing, as it is in Heaven makes us become more aware what He has really wanted all along. He did say that we would do the same ministry of Jesus, and even greater works. Boy, I don’t know about you, but what I would like to be involved in notable outpourings, miracles, healings, salvations in droves, awakenings that make the headlines. What we need to realize is, we should not be waiting on God!!! He is waiting on you and me to awaken to what He has already given. Open the letter He has written to you personally, check it out and jump into the process of Kingdom Living.

Blessings

There is just a knowing

Courage and Trust are the two Feet of those that Walk with God

When motives are unselfish and God’s interest is foremost among priorities, confidence arises in the heart of a true follower of Christ. These are tough attributes to live by during this age and generation of entitlement. Different from the last generation of sacrifice, we must and are forced to learn discipline by falling, until ready to humble ourself to understand true workings of Spirit Living. Stepping in to His Presence for the moment and emotion of free worship, just to step out of and back into the worlds ways is greasy grace. We are cheating from a relationship of intimate communion. Living for the emotion or next high will make your expectation dependent on man or performance. Celebration in the corporate body should be the natural expression of a family of God’s children. True Spirit Living comes from what is experienced all the other days of the week. Making room and time to listen and hear His voice, instead of choosing day in and day out to forget relationship, until it is the weekend or the next meeting.

That is where we can really learn Courage & Trust.

They are the two feet of those that walk with God.

When you catch a glimps of this lifestyle, just a little light sheds encouragement on your path to make you hungry for what may be next. Walking through the first door to see what was there for you to capture and conquer, all the sudden gives you a boldness to keep going!

Just sayn’!

2 Samuel 22:29-31 (The Message)

29-31 Suddenly, God, your light floods my path, God drives out the darkness. I smash the bands of marauders,  I vault the high fences. What a God! His road stretches straight and smooth. Every God-direction is roadtested. Everyone who runs toward him Makes it.

2 Samuel 22:29-31 (New King James Version)

29 “For You are my lamp, O LORD;      The LORD shall enlighten my darkness.

30 For by You I can run against a troop;      By my God I can leap over a wall.

31 As for God, His way is perfect;      The word of the LORD is proven;       He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
