It has been claimed that the remains of Noah’s Ark have been discovered 13,000ft up a Turkish mountain
A group of evangelical researchers claim they have found the remains of Noah’s Ark thousands of feet up Mount Ararat, its biblical resting place, in Turkey.
The exact location of the find has not been disclosed, but carbon dating conducted on wood and stone from the site has revealed their age as 4,800 years old, according to the scientists.
“The structure is partitioned into different spaces,” said Noah’s Ark Ministries International team member Man-fai Yuen in a statement. “We believe that the wooden structure we entered is the same structure recorded in historical accounts.”
Many Christians believe the mountain in Turkey is the final resting place of Noah’s ark. As a Christian, I don’t need material proof to prove the validity of the Bible, but I find it very interesting and hope that it helps non-believers rethink their own reality. At the same time, the skepticism of the find runs its course though the secular press.
Further tests will be conducted on the items but one researcher claimed they were “99.9 per cent sure” the remains were that of the original Ark.
